Common questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. TrueSight runs entirely in your browser — Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari on any modern desktop. Floor plans and camera data are processed locally in your session; nothing is sent to a third party.
How do client sharing links work?
On Pro and above, you can generate a secure read-only link for any project. Your client can view the exact camera layout and coverage zones in their browser — no account or editing access required. Links are long, random tokens that you can revoke at any time.
How accurate are the coverage cones?
Coverage zones are calculated from each camera model's published field-of-view angle, detection range, and IR range. Accuracy depends on your map zoom level and, for floor plans, your scale calibration. Real-world coverage also depends on lens quality and lighting conditions — use TrueSight as a planning and communication tool, not a guarantee.
Can I use my own floor plans or drone imagery?
Yes. Upload JPEG, PNG, or WebP images as floor-plan layers, calibrate scale to a known measurement, and plan camera layouts per floor. Orthophoto and drone image overlays are available on the Pro plan and above.
What happens when I cancel my subscription?
Your account reverts to the Free plan limits. Projects beyond the free allowance become read-only — you can still export them, but won't be able to create new ones until you upgrade or delete some existing projects.
